Snow Chasers Meetup
We'll Go Where the Snow Is!
Mission Ridge or 49 Degrees North
The destination will be selected approximately one week before departure based on whichever mountain promises the best snow conditions.
Proposed Dates
Monday, March 1 – Thursday, March 4
Interest List Now Open
One trip. Two possible mountains. One goal: find the best snow!
Why This Meetup?
Why commit to one mountain months in advance when Mother Nature hasn't made up her mind yet?
This meetup is all about flexibility. Rather than locking ourselves into one destination, we'll wait until about one week before departure and choose whichever mountain is offering the best snow conditions.
Whether it's the groomers of Mission Ridge or the powder and terrain of 49 Degrees North, we'll go where the skiing is best.
Both resorts are Indy Pass destinations, giving us two great possibilities while allowing Mother Nature to have the final say.
BEST SNOW WINS!
Approximately one week before departure, we'll evaluate snowfall, weather forecasts, road conditions, and mountain reports. The destination will then be selected based on which ski area promises the best overall conditions.

Both ski areas are included on the Indy Pass.
Build Your Own Adventure
Unlike our traditional club trips, this meetup lets you build the experience that works best for you. Stay in a hotel, camp at the mountain, carpool with friends, or make it a quick overnight getaway. The choice is yours.
Each participant is responsible for arranging and paying for their own:
-
Hotel or other lodging accommodations
-
Lift tickets, if needed
-
Meals and snacks
-
Transportation
-
Camping reservations, if camping
The trip leader will make things easier by providing recommended hotel options, helping coordinate carpools, and keeping everyone informed once the final destination has been selected.
Make It Your Trip!
Want a relaxing mini vacation? Book a hotel for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights.
Looking for a budget-friendly adventure? Camp at the ski area.
Only have two days available? Drive over Tuesday morning and head home after skiing Wednesday.
However you choose to do it, you'll still enjoy skiing with the group.
Campfire Après Ski Headquarters
One of the highlights of this meetup won't just be the skiing. It will be gathering together after the lifts stop spinning.
The trip leader will be camping in a van at the selected ski area's parking lot and will provide an informal gathering area for après ski on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
Après Ski Gathering
-
A covered tent structure for gathering
-
A fire pit for warmth
-
A grill for cooking food
-
A place to relax, share stories, and plan the next day's skiing
Everyone is invited to stop by Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, even if you're staying at a hotel. Bring a camp chair, your favorite beverage, and something to throw on the grill if you'd like.
Interested in Camping?
You're welcome to camp alongside the trip leader. Both ski areas have specific requirements, prices, and reservation procedures for overnight parking or camping. Anyone who plans to camp is responsible for making their own arrangements directly with the selected ski area before the trip.
