Please also check your other season-pass reciprocals for some mid-week “escape

from blackout dates” skiing? If this sounds like fun then please join us on our meetup

trip to Mission Ridge! No passes, that’s ok, but you’ll have to buy lift tickets online.

Mission Ridge is part of the Powder alliance resorts

Mission Ridge offers the longest Night-skiing run in North America following the

Christmas day and through February. Night skiing is mostly fog-free as the fog freezes
when the temperature transitions from moderate to marginally lower in the
evening.
The chair-2 going to the peak has bubble covers and protects from cold and
high
winds. Mission Ridge is known for light powder, wide groomed runs, and some

amazing views. Only 12 miles from Wenatchee, the ski area is built into a 2,000 acre

basin on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains. Mission is a little higher, a little

drier, and quite a bit "sunny" than the other mountains in our area. For your skiing

pleasure Mission has more than 36 designated runs through 4 chair lifts, spread over

2,000 spectacular acres of trails, chutes, screamers and bowls, with a 2,250’ vertical

drop.

This is a DSC “mid-week meetup trip” which means you get to ski and hangout with

other DSC skiers and friends but you’re basically on your own to make arrangements.

To help make those arrangements a little easier for this trip we’ve reserved a block of

rooms with 2 queen beds and single bed at the “Best Western Plus Wenatchee

Downtown”, 815 N Wenatchee Ave, Wenatchee, WA 98801, located in downtown

Wenatchee. The hotel is a prime location just 25 minutes from Mission Ridge and

within a very short distance of various restaurants and watering holes in downtown

Wenatchee**. The hotel offers all the normal amenities including a complimentary full

hot breakfast. The cost of 2 nights lodging (Thursday-Saturday) at this Best Western is

only $89 per room per night. Best Western Hotel reservations will provide an email link

to book the hotel. DSC members who can find room-mates are encouraged to do so to

split the cost of stay or they can reserve a single room for themselves. For 1-night

option, folks are encouraged to make their booking directly with the hotel or online.

Block reservations prices may be more or less than available online, so please

check online before you request to reserve a hotel room.

Each individual will be responsible for arranging for their own lift tickets and ski

reservations. We’ll be happy to help walk you through the process of using your Indy

Pass and applicable season-pass reciprocals. If you don’t have any of those you can

still purchase day and/or night ski passes thru the resorts’ website.
