Big Snow! at Big White!

It’s been said Go Big or Go Home. Trouble with Going Home in TriCities, there is no White as in Snow. The Desert Ski Club is Going Big White. Big White as in 300 inches of snow on average per year. Big White is 35 miles east of Kelowna. The 54 person bus has gobs of room and will be the best 8 hours you will spend. You might make it in your own car, but you’d be tired and not get the pleasure of the cool kids on the bus. 
Big White has a base elevation of 5000 feet and a peak of 7600 feet giving it 2500 vertical drop. There are 2700 acres of ski terrain. There are 119 individual named trails and 27 unnamed trails. Perhaps someone from our party can make a name for themselves and name a nameless trail. Big White was opened in 1963 with one T Bar. Most of us in the club are older than Big White. This shouldn’t stop any one of us from thinking we are legends in our own minds or our last yard sale. This trip has room for 24 lucky folks who can scare up $1200 before lift tickets. Big White honors Indy Pass, sorry no Ikon. There is at this point in time an exchange rate discount of 30% Canadian Dollar to United States Dollar. Did I mention we are staying at The Inn at Big White? It’s premier ski in ski out!  Desert Ski Clubbers get on the bus. Don't stay Home Go Big White!

Transportation:
Bus leaves from Tri-cities at 7:30am on Sunday, February 22nd and will return late February 27th. 
Acommodations:
Inn at Big White with Dual Queen Bedrooms. Single Supplement is available 
Social Events:
We will have a Welcome Breakfast along with an Apre Meal and Dinner
Lift Tickets:
You'll be using your Indy Pass to take advantage of 2 days of skiing with a 25% discount on your third day. For those without Indy, we have a discount rate of $334 for a 4 day lift ticket.

Only the first 24 registrants are guaranteed space on the trip -- first come, first serve.

If the trip fills up before you can register, add your name to the Wait List and we will try to expand the trip to accommodate you.  Keep in mind that the later you wait to put your name on the Wait List, the less chance we will be able to accommodate you.

Payment By Schedule Only
Cancellation Policy:
Note that with the decline of COVID, the standard DSC cancellation policy is now in effect.

Refunds will be made for cancellations, provided that your place on a trip is filled by a fully paid individual.

The trip leader will attempt to fill your cancellation from any waiting list. If the trip leader is not able to fill your cancellation from a waiting list, you may provide a replacement provided they are or become a DSC member.

If a replacement cannot be found, you will be refunded the amount you have paid, minus a $10 cancellation fee and minus any costs which were incurred by the DSC on your behalf for which the DSC cannot recover the cost.

Full refunds will be provided for a trip which is cancelled by the DSC.
