Come join the Desert Ski Club as we celebrate and kickoff the New Year at
one of our favorite ski hills: Mission Ridge!!!
Costs: $30 plus lodging, meals, transportation, & lift pass(es)

The Plan:
Friday, Dec. 31: Arrive in Wenatchee and ski all day, with a Midway Midday Meetup. Or,
join for evening festivities, kicked off with an après ski meetup at the Gorton/Nash
Residence, continuing on to downtown. DSSC will provide festive bling, and a selection
of drinks and appetizers, all arranged on your behalf!

Saturday, Jan. 1 / Sunday, Jan. 2: Return home--or make a weekend out of it and…
Ski Saturday and if you’re up for it Sunday. Dinner meetup Saturday for those who stay.

As a Holiday weekend, many reciprocity tickets and passes have blackout days, with the
exception of the Indy+ pass (the more expensive one with no blackout dates).

Transportation:
Tri-Cities to Wenatchee/Mission: Drive yourself or carpool. Carpool gas costs are shared
equally between the passengers and driver. Round trip distance between the Tri-Cities
and Mission Ridge, including the commute to/from accommodations in Wenatchee for a full 3
ski days, is about 345 mi. (~130 mi Tri-Cities to Wenatchee, ~14mi Wenatchee to Mission)
New Year’s Eve (Friday): Please be mindful of carpool/driving arrangements. For getting
around beyond walking distance, we recommend Checker Cab (509-663-TAXI/8294) as Uber
isn’t strong in Wenatchee. Working on a couple group transfers to/from Coast (**TBC**)
